HICAP holds many community presentations, information sessions, and Medicare help events throughout the year. Almost all are free and open to the public.

5th Annual Stronger Bridges to Health 2012: Bringing The Pieces Together

SF HICAP staff guest panel speaker, morning and afternoon sessions.
The Stronger Bridges to Health Forum is an information and resource fair for community advocates who connect the uninsured to health coverage. Participants have the opportunity to network with one another and participate in workshops aimed at improving their understanding of public health programs, how to refer to them, and other topics. For certified application assistors (CAAs), workshops will aim at expanding their eligibility and screening skills to include other health access programs and services. The event is sponsored by San Francisco Health Plan and is made available to participants at no cost.
This year’s theme, “Bringing the Pieces Together,” aims at learning how we can harness community based services to compliment healthcare coverage and create healthier communities. Join us!
